The founder letter

How I got here.

I am a United States Marine. That is where everything started. The discipline, the structure, the refusal to accept "that is just how it works" as an answer. All of that came from the Corps. When I transitioned out, I carried that straight into business.

Before Stacking Capital, before any of the interviews, I hit bottom financially. I know what it is to be buried in debt with no clear path out. That experience changed the trajectory of my life. I made a decision. I was never going to let the financial system control me again.

I went into entrepreneurship. When the pandemic hit, I made a bet on myself. I invested fifty thousand dollars into a mentorship that taught me the credit and funding system properly. Not the surface material. The real mechanics. How lenders underwrite. Which compliance items actually matter. Why some businesses get funded easily while others with better revenue get denied.

That is where Stacking Capital came from. I applied it for myself, then for friends, then for their friends. It spread because the results were real. We were not handing people credit cards. We were building businesses banks could underwrite.

Every engagement is personal to me. I have been where most of our clients are.

What we believe

Four positions,
stated plainly.

01

Most funding advice is backwards.

Owners wait until they need the money, then scramble. That is how you end up with bad terms or a denial. Build the profile first and the capital arrives on your terms.

02

The intro period is phase one, not the destination.

The first round builds the exact items the second one requires: tradelines, business scores, seasoned banking relationships. Most of this industry has no plan past the promo. We write it in week one.

03

We take a whole view of the business.

Not just cards. Credit, collateral and cash flow, and the twenty lender compliance items. The goal is a business that can access capital on its own legs, not one that depends on us forever.

04

Everyone gets a second chance at credit.

Bad credit, no credit, post-bankruptcy, fresh start. There is a path from each of those. The system has rules, and the doors open once you know them.

The advisors

The people who
run the files.

Every engagement is assigned a dedicated advisor. The applications happen live, on Zoom, with the person who built the plan.

The position

What we are,
and what we are not.

Said once, plainly, so none of it has to be inferred.

Not a bank.
We hold no deposits, and none of the money is ours.
Not a lender.
Nothing on your file is underwritten here. Every approval is an institution's decision, made on its own criteria.
Not a broker.
No institution pays us to place you, so nothing in the plan is steered toward one desk over another.
An advisory firm.
You pay one flat fee. We read the file the way an underwriter reads it, clear what would deny it, and sequence the applications with you, live. The banking relationships that come out of it belong to your business, not to us.
